Inflation and Care Instructions for your Fitness and Peanut Balls:
To ensure your new Fitness or Peanut Ball lasts and performs optimally, proper inflation is key. This 3-day Method allows the material to stretch gradually and safely reach its maximum size.
Important Safety Tips:
Use the Right Pump: You can purchase a pump from us by clicking here or use a hand pump, foot pump, or electric inflator made for inflatables. Avoid high-pressure air compressors.
Clear Surface: Inflate on a flat area, free from sharp objects.
No Over-Inflation: Don't rush to fully inflate. The 3-day method prevents damage from rapid over-stretching.
The 3-Day Inflation Method:
This method allows your ball's material to gradually expand, preventing damage and ensuring it reaches its full size.
Day 1: Initial Inflation
Insert Nozzle: Find the inflation plug and insert your pump's nozzle.
Inflate Firmly: Pump air until the ball is taut but not stretched to its limit.
Fitness Ball: Firm to the touch, smooth surface.
Peanut Ball: Firm to the touch, central dip defined.
Insert Plug: Quickly remove the pump and insert the stopper plug.
Rest for 24 Hours: Let the ball sit for 24 hours to allow the material to relax and stretch.
Day 2: Further Inflation
Inflate More: After 24 hours the ball may feel softer – this is normal. Re-insert the pump and inflate further, getting closer to its maximum diameter. It should be very firm but still slightly pliable.
Rest for 24 Hours: Let the ball rest for another 24 hours for continued stretching.
Day 3: Final Inflation & Max Size
Inflate to Max: After another day, pump until the ball reaches its full, recommended size and is very firm.
Fitness Ball: Very firm and taut. Use a measuring tape to check the diameter if you’re unsure (e.g., 55cm, 65cm, 75cm).
Peanut Ball: Both sides are firm and plump and the central dip is firm and stable.
After Inflation:
Clean: Wipe down with a damp cloth if needed.
Store: Keep in a cool, dry place away from heat and sharp objects.
Check for Reinflation: Periodically check for firmness and re-inflate as needed.
